It is March 1st and if you are anything like me, you are ready for ALL the spring things! My students LOVE taking part in seasonal activities (honestly, I do too)! And of course, with learning standards and admin, we need our fun activities to incorporate learning goals as well. Below I have some of my favorite March/ Saint Patrick’s Day crafts that my class enjoys and hardly even realize they are also learning in the process-yay!

As a wonderful companion to the book, “How to Catch a Leprechaun” By Adam Wallace, engage your students in writing, creativity, and fine motor skill development by having them complete a How to Catch a Leprechaun writing craft. (Photographed above). The wonderful thing about this craft is it is educational. You can teach sequence, how-to writing, and following directions! This craft resource also includes 6 writing prompt choices that are differentiated to meet many students and their levels of needed support! LINK: How to Catch a Leprechaun Writing Craft
This craft is also part of a larger bundle! Stock up and save money here: March | St. Patrick’s Day Activity Bundle | Crafts | Games | Coloring & MORE!

Maybe leprechauns aren’t as much what you are looking for- hey, I understand! One school year, I had a student SO frightened of leprechauns we literally couldn’t talk about them at all! March is also a great time of year to talk about gratitude and what makes us “lucky.” This craft also practices writing, fine motor development, and following directions! This craft resource is great as you can print in both color or black and white versions. So, if you are short on time, simply print in color and students only have to cut & glue! However, if you have time to fill, you can print on white cardstock and let your students use their creativity and color in the craft pieces themselves! This craft is also part of a larger bundle that includes a bulletin board kit if you are looking to make an eye-catching display! Click here to check it out: Bulletin Board Kit AND Craft Bundle!

I hope everyone has a fun filled month of March. Happy Learning and creating!
